Dearest DA friends and watchers, I am back from being gone for so long & feel an "urgency" if you will , to submit as much as I can lately. Several years ago while I was a florist I had a major injury that was so intense I could not continue my CGI training. That being said, my life plans changed. I traveled with my Husband for his work, saw almost every state & continued creating art. Now after returning home after becoming sick and after a couple of years of Dr.s unable to figure what was wrong, I was diagnosed with 2nd stage endometrial cancer. I have had one complete surgery so far & will be requiring radiation therapy they say. Next step is dealing with the Ins. & treatment logistics. I may get very tired I am told so I will try to be back as often as i can so PLEASE bear with me. This was not meant to be a downer for anyone, so please don't feel bad or sorry i will weather this, especially since I know I have a home here with all of you and your encouragement
I will keep posting & checking in & hope to hear and see new work from all of you. Please feel free to contact me anytime. Keep up the good work & talk to all of you soon ~

Timelessness of water droplets...
What I love so much about water droplets is their patience. The anticipation of time itself, as it awaits its destiny, to fall, dry or re-coalesce. All the while reflecting all the beauty that surrounds it and in some instances enhancing it beyond description. A value in myself I would like to emulate. Like the ancient water clocks of antiquity, a moment in time suspended, that can be admired into infinity. These are some of my favorites but certainly not all of the ones that I love #showyourheart
What I did over summer vacation - kidding :)
Dearest friends...
Long time no speak, I know. Things got a little hectic the last few months. I did finish my therapies and am on the mend, my last scans were good but I have one coming up in October, so I am pensive about it.
Anyway, Have been busy doing some work for family. My niece had a pacemaker put in (she's only mid-20's!) And she wanted a heart for a tattoo which i completed for her, she really liked it. Worked with my sister on some "thumbnail" illustrations for her book and she was ecstatic that it was just how she wanted them. (pats self on back) Just glad they are both happy. Also working on updated illustrations for
So much to do, so little time...
So my round of radiation is nearing it's end. Have been sick quite a bit this week. Hasn't been pleasant to say the least but I
have managed to muddle through it. It really did cut into my creative time. Hoping they won't want more therapy or chemo. :(
Have so many pieces I am working on, I bounce from one to the other depending on how exhausted I am. Within the next week hope to have at least one of them finished. If everything goes right, it will be my triptych. Just have to find a way to scan it in & upload it, once it's done. I would really like to someday soon start my "Tarot Deck" It is similar in style to this one piece above
Devious Journal Entry
It has been so long and so much has happened. Have been traveling across the U.S. with my Husband, sketching along the way. These newest sky submissions were done on 3" x 5" Strathmore 50 lb sketch paper. (they call it fine.) My Idea & their idea of fine are two different things. >_> . I did these while the vehicle was moving, though it kept me preoccupied in deep thought, it also aggravated me to no end. I don't recommend it if your a pefectionist. All of them were done with standard colored pencils. More submissions to follow & more journal entries as well. Thanks for being patient & watching my work! P.S. I have seen
